Beaded jewelry, bead embellished clothing, soft furnishings, bead art, and anything to show off or otherwise help others enjoy seeing focal beads, or jewelry pieces to enhance specific outfits.
Because I love to bead and to embellish with beads, I really enjoy creating art-to-wear and to re-make articles of clothing into new and updated pieces. Using two or three old tops and skirts to re-purpose them into dresses is fun, as is the beadwork I do once the re-purposing has been done.
I also enjoy helping friends develop their work area to make the best of what space they have. You might be surprised to discover what can be done with a simple closet, corner, or even with a folding tray type table if your beads and projects are organized. I get a great pleasure from revamping a messy or disorganized area, or when I can develop a workspace where before was only wasted space. Atmospheres matter; the nicer your workspace is for you, the happier you will be, and the happier you will bead!
I adore adornment, any and all. I can become giddy over some very strange things; a bit of broken glass, a few old hex nuts, an interesting piece of fiber or textile, old family photographs, and worn shards of pottery are a few favorites.

Everything from classic rock, obscure 60's garage bands, obscure 70's garage bands, obscure 80's garage bands, obscure and a few well known 80's punk rock bands, but nothing from the 90's that I can think of.

Whoo, not sure I've ever met a book I didn't like. Wait, yes I have. But I can't remember the title.

Beads, beading, beadwork, mixed media, collage, cold metal crafting, combining seed beads with other elements, beaded ATCs, freeform versions of any stitch, most cats but especially our own family furball, our son, his friends, my husband, my jobs, writing, creating, nice people, and a week-long pouring rains storm, as long as no one has to drive in it.
I also enjoy those moments when I break into a sudden grin for no obvious reason; it's just a "because I'm happy to be here now" thing. Feeling a sense of contentment is good, to, and is especially pleasant in these turbulent times.
Other likes: soft wool, hot coffee, warm tea, properly made Greek yogurt, sleeping late, but even better than that is waking early and feeling really rested and ready for a great day.
If I am roused by the frangrance of fresh, hot coffee in the pot, have a wonderful bead design in my head, a quiet house (well, as quiet as it ever gets with a teenager and his friends in and out) and a full day ahead with no other plans but to enjoy my beads and my family.

Bad manners, mean people, people with no manners whatsoever (were they raised by wolves?) bad drivers, receiving a beautiful lampwork or other art-type bead, only to discover a crack or chip, bad grammar (especially my own), creating work-of-art beadwork then using the cheapest looking findings made, dishonest bead sellers, and disloyalty.

I'll get back to you on this one. I am not an uncomplicated person and time does not permit me to author this just now.
