What I Create
I like to do crystal drops as gifts for my family and friends. I am trying to learn lots of new technics. Right now Peyote is my favorite.

Fried Green Tomatoes, Pollyanna and lots of other Disney classics, adventure, drama, musicals--I have a pretty big video collection.

Oldies, country, Christian, showtunes, almost everything but hard rock.

Mysteries, fantasy, some sci-fi, I also like reading what my oldest granddaughter is reading.

Playing with my grandchildren.
I am quite politically active--particularly concerning disability issues.

I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 5. I have many interests, so bored is not a word in my vocabulary. I love animals--especially dogs and horses, beading, knitting, actually almost any needle art, going for walks with my dog..the list goes on. I enjoy being with my family and friends, but I do not mind spending time alone.

Beady sites. I love just looking at beads and other materials. There is no bead store in my area with a wide variety of supplies.

Hi Kathy, I am really jealous now, LOL I have to buy geodes!! we have mostly clear quartz too. Let me know what your friends say about finding the agates,maybe I can use some hunting info, too.LOL  Do you have a local gem and mineral society? I have joined mine in hopes of learning something if I ever make it to a meeting. LOL I have learned alot form jewelry television beleive it or not, just watching when I am bored. It is interesting about the history of gemstones. My daughter lives in Maryland, I was up there this summer to visit and never even though of going gem finding, maybe next time! well, I guess i should go do paperwork so I can get done someday with it!!! ugh!!!!!!!  LOL TTYL-Dori

hi!! Thanks so much for your kind comments on my page!! I love to play scrabble too. I used to play regularly on  the pixiepalace page  when it was free but haven't since they started charging for it. I play solitare text twist on yahoo now, LOL. You realize that up north there where you are on the sides of trails may be gemstones just for the picking up?? agates, quartz's, all kinds of goodies!! I am thoroughly jealous because we only have boring old quartz here. So, look for pretty rocks, you never know what kind of cool studf you might actually have!!LOL  Glad we are friends!!!Dori
