I create jeweled adornments for the woman who wants to exude class and sophistication whether she's in the boardroom or hanging out with friends in jeans and a t-shirt. I like to call my creations Simply Sophisticated. I create wirework, beaded fiber, and beaded jewelry. I will soon post pictures of my work.

I love a movie that has a smart storyline. Examples of a perfect movie, in my opinion, are Gone With the Wind, Jean de Florette, and The Color Purple. Epics, action, drama, and comedies are my favorites as long as

My taste in music is eclectic. I love listening to r&b, classic rock, jazz, classical (Mozart), old school hip hop, pop, soca, Arabic style, big band, and showtunes. Did I miss something? ;-)

Being an avid reader, I have a collection of fiction that range from the "foodie" or "cozy" mysteries to the stimulating classics of Shakespeare, Poe, Hemingway. Historical fiction and crime dramas are also my guilty pleasures. Right now Jasper Fforde is my recent and favorite author. I love well written biographies, historical fiction, and books that inspire my creative efforts in beading and jewelry making.

Besides beading, I like...spring, fall, football, the Lakers, running, working out, reading a good book, baking, being with my family, belly dancing, listening to entertaining talk radio, LOST, hanging out with lifelong friends, papercrafting, rubber stamping, and good chocolate.

All things that intentionally bring hurt, pain, and tragedy to others whether those things are words or actions.

I am a SAHM of two beautiful boys. During my free time I love to bead. I've been beading and designing jewelry for over 5 years. What started out as a little hobby is becoming a passion. My passion began with simple stringing, but over the years I've created wirework and and "beading w/ fiber" pieces. My other crafting passion is papercrafting.
