It would be great to catch up for a coffee & a chat about things send me your email address so i can send you that pattern you like, if you want to do a swap i like Samurai Kitty. I will be starting my studies again soon so i may be using you as a sounding board sometimes if thats ok.
Your work is amazing. Embellished loom work sounds fascinating and I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do.
Heh! Once I get caught up on my Bead Journal project I'm going to try and force myself to do more loom work.
Are you working off of a Mirrix? Are they worth it? What are they like?
Cheers,

Sara Beth,
Your work is just lovely. I'm combing through back issues of Bead & Button to look for your article. I'd leave a comment on lots of your pictures, but that seems to be a waste of your time!
I'm trying to force myself to do more off-loom weaving. I'm obsessed with loom work. I actually think I achieve an altered state of concsiousness when I write or do beadwork.
So I'm experimenting now with embellishing loomwork. That seems to help motivate me. Thanks for the inspiration & the eye candy!
I'm very new and so far this is what I've figured out. There are some good forums here that you can join, especially if you find beaders whose work you like. That way you can share ideas and problems solve if you get stuck on something.
If you don't find the subject yo like you can start a forum and invite others to join.
You get points for something. It's a mystery to me. Giving feed back or messages or polls or something. I've submitted a query because I just don't know.
You can then spend those points a buy stuff.
Best of all I think is the eye candy! That is so stimulating to my creative juices.
I did make a nice friend from Australia and we're trading looming patterns that are pretty complex.
