Mary Jane, my photos were taken with a Canon Power Shot! (S1 IS)  I posted a thread and commented on another in the photo section of the forum.  Some of it is being in a 'photog' family, some of it is practice, practice, practice.  (I have some 7,000 pictures stored on the net...)

If you have a specific question or issue that seems to be tripping you up, by all means post to that thread!  I can try my best to answer, but please be aware I am NOT a professional, just a traveler along the path learning as I go.  One of my 'tricks' is to take lots of pix as long as the light lasts where I want it.  I then delete the rejects and bless the good'uns!
