Kris Richards, author of New Ways with Polymer Clay, has chosen to feature Cornichon beads as focals in her jewelry design.

She will have a new website, BEEDHIVE, in the near future. Meanwhile you can see her earlier work in her Photobucket album, and read her bio in an interview at Polymer Clay Central.

Several years ago, Kris bought one of my listings on Justbeads and produced this lovely classic.

I felt honored then and am ecstatic now to see how much her unique style enhances my beads. Here are the delightful little earrings that she made out of those ubiquitous small swirls!

Several months ago, my son introduced me to YouTube, where a video search is kind of like ordering at Alice’s Restaurant. Mom was hooked.

Then I ran across a diy video by Bill Myers on using free software to make your own. Don’t you just love it when the information is out there right when you are ready for it!?

With tons of auction pics, I figured Bolero for the music because it is so hypnotic that people will watch to the end. A search located The Arnett Project, easy listening with cool effects, and the musician was very gracious in giving me permission to use his unique rendition to accompany the beads.

The whole process was fun and easy.

A Little Knowledge

The simple, self-taught html that I use on my website won’t work here.
We will just have to be patient, won’t we?

The same is true of metal-work. I’m watching everyone do such neat
stuff, but much as I would like to dive in, it’s a long way down on my list.

Meanwhile, I’ve found Accessories Susan and am using her vintage
brass.
