bead embroidery, loomwork, dabble in peyote and square stitch. I like to make functional items (barrettes, purses) but am trying to be more artsy

Horror films - even the bad ones
movies that make you think about reality (Matrix, Fight Club)
Documentaries on religion

all kinds except country and death metal

non-fiction for me, mostly read on religion, spirituality, psychology, philosophy

The Bead Connection in Arvada, CO
Orr's in Englewood, CO
Beyond Beadery, CO

beading (of course), ghost town, photography, exploring abandoned places, studying psychology and religion (all beliefs)

a lot of bad formed beads within my seed beads, tangled thread and a noisy house or whining dogs while I'm trying to bead.

Oh and having to work instead of bead.

I am a seeker and constantly want to learn. I love exploring places and experiencing things rarely seen by others. However, I also have a hectic life that interferes with my 'dream' life. I'm very worrisome and have a very busy and chaotic mind at times which I am trying to find someway to bring peace to through a simpler and a more fulfilling life. Beading more is part of that.

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and one day, hopefully soon, will be going on to get my PhD in Social Neuroscience. I am raising my niece (16) and nephew (10). Never planned on having kids but sometimes life has different plans.

I consider myself to be a really easy going person, very open and accepting. Love to help out others, but have learned that such a thing has to have it's limits.

I am very determined and that is carrying over into my beading. I will become a good beader even if it kills me. :)
